Running a fire department, even an all volunteer organization like ours, is not without significant financial challenges. The cost to effectively running a fire department is exorbitant and we rely on community support in order to properly maintain our equipment, to pay for our training and acquire new equipment when it becomes out dated and unsafe to use.
Throughout the years, we have relied on donations to meet some of our financial obligations. Unfortunately, donations have not kept up with the increasing costs to provide an entire community with the most effective response to emergencies.
For those of you that have been in the village long enough, you may remember when Maybrook FD had an EMS division. Unfortunately, tax dollars are not enough to sustain fully functioning emergency service operations.
We would like return to the same level of financial readiness we’ve had in the past. That is the main reason we have established a sponsorship program. In return for major financial support, we are providing a platform in which business can increase their public visibility and potentially increased their revenue. Providing major sponsors with added visibility through our network is another way we can thank you for your support.
