When a fire starts in your home you may have as little as two minutes to escape.
During a fire, early warning from a working smoke alarms and a fire escape plan can save lives.
Top 10 Fire Safety Tips
Install smoke alarms on every level of your home, inside bedrooms and outside sleeping areas.
Test smoke alarms every month. If they’re not working, change the batteries.
Talk with all family members about a fire escape plan and practice the plan twice a year.
Replace any smoke alarm that is more than ten (10) years old.
While frying grilling or broiling food, stay in the kitchen. If you must leave, even for a short time, turn off the stove.
Keep space heaters at least three feet from anything that can burn an never leave them unattended.
Keep matches and lighters out of reach from children, preferably in a cabinet with a child lock.
Inspect electrical cords and replace them is they are cracked, damaged, have broken plugs, or have a loose connection.
Keep candles at least one foot from anything that can burn and blow them out when you leave the room or going to sleep.

GET OUT, STAY OUT and CALL 911
. Never go back inside for anything or anyone.
